About Us

Recovery Beacon was founded with a clear vision: to disrupt the traditional legal model and build a modern, dynamic firm where people genuinely want to work.

Created by husband-and-wife team Paul and Jessica Hampson, the firm began life in a small space at the Edward Pavilion on Liverpool’s Albert Dock — just 200 ft² with room for four desks. Today, we operate from 20 Chapel Street in Liverpool, in a custom-designed, state-of-the-art office space.

With a growing team of over 100 people — and room for twice that — we’ve built a workplace designed for collaboration, innovation and growth. Our space features dedicated training rooms, breakout areas, and even an on-site amphitheatre. It’s this blend of modern thinking and people-first culture that earned us the nickname the "Scouse Silicon Valley" in The Law Society Gazette.
